    HI TEAM!

2019 is off to a great start! Welcome to our new members, and welcome back to our renewing members. Your support ensures that B4T9 will continue to support and promote women in cycling at all levels. If you have not renewed yet, please do so NOW!

Lots happening, so let’s get to it...

Our new kit is available for ordering by current members. The redesign is beautiful and will go with your other B4T9 pieces so you can pair the new jersey with your current shorts. Of course, you can order the entire kit at any time, too. FYI…the sizing is the same as last year’s kit.

Several members are racing already this year. B4T9 is officially registered with USACycling if you are renewing or signing up for a 2019 racing license.www.usacycling.org.

Your chance to try your legs at a time trial! This is an individual time trial in Piru. You race against the clock to get your own PR. We’ll meet ahead of time to warm up (bring your trainer, if you have one, or warm up on the road) and we’ll go out for a celebration breakfast together afterwards. Come join the fun! https://www.bikereg.com/piru-20k-time-trial-jan8?fbclid=IwAR0RZT2rmJqUlldn9n2Sof8Vtx2j5fpPfM5F2DybIoT-QmOyVzgsmtXjIkQ

Join B4T9 teammates for another great social ride. We’ll be meeting in Westlake Village and heading out to Mulholland where there will be options. Bring some cash as we will meet for coffee/lunch at Stonehaus afterwards. Meet at 8:45am, The Stonehaus, 32039 Agoura Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91361 (roll from the front parking lot at 9am).

Join us in celebrating the enduring impact of Title IX legislation. This year’s event features two Olympians, Caroline Burckle (USA Swimming 2008 Olympics) and Kami Craig (USA Team Water Polo 2008, 2012, 2016 Olympics) who now work to mentor the next generation of athletes. Always inspiring, and as sponsors, we have tickets available for B4T9'ers who can join us. The event is held at 11:30am at Earl Warren Showgrounds. Please email Jill Gass (coachjillgass@gmail.com) if you would like to attend.

This is one not to miss! We will be doing a short skills practice each day, followed by a ride, and then following up with lunch at a local restaurant. This is a day camp. Bring cash for no-host lunches. SAVE THE DATES (details to follow).

Join B4T9 teammates on this organized ride and stay to socialize afterwards. Register for the ride at www.bikescor.com

Note that we are updating our 2019 membership list on February 15. To remain eligible for B4T9 events and notifications, please renew today! We want you on our team!!

Lynda has served B4T9 and its mission since inception.  Lynda has been THE #1 GLUE that holds several of our local women's cycling communities together including racing, riding, touring and off the bike activities such as hiking and wine tasting! She has created a powerful FORCE which has supported many causes benefiting women on bikes locally and worldwide. She is a tireless, behind-the-scenes women’s cycling advocateand she will always be that for many of us!

Enter KATHY STEWART...GLUE #2!  She has generously filled this gap and is our newest BOD member.  As most of you already know, Kathy brings an extraordinary amount of positive energy and expertise to the B4T9 board as a cyclist, connector, rabble-rouser, and all round great person.  She is dedicated to the sport and to seeing more women do it! Welcome and Thank You Kathy!!

    Hi Everyone!

There is no doubt that cycling sometimes takes a back seat to all sorts of other planned or unplanned circumstances or priorities; for example-Mother Nature. In practically every community where B4T9 has a presence; our teammates have likely had experiences with the forces of nature in the last year and have been affected in some way personally or through friends and family.

For example, from a team perspective, early this year some of our planned B4T9 rides were not accessible, we were actuallyphysicallysplit by a divide of mud and debris.  Yes, that was a weird experience!  Thankfully through it all we have had Lynda T connecting us through Facebook; keeping us bonded through our love of two wheels.

It’s in that spirit that we ask you to renew your membership if you have not already.  Go online toB4T9 Join/Renewto sign up.  And if you are a current member we thank you!  Please review our new website for Events, Race/Event News and for a link to your members only page where you can order kits.
